AccuCapper BT

The AccuCapper™ BT Semi-Auto Bench Top Chuck Capping machine automatically tightens screw and lug-type closures that have been placed on containers. Its pneumatic clutch ensures an accurate and specific torque every time.

This machine works for nearly every production setting requiring a pneumatic operation. It can handle most bottle types, including P.E.T, P.V.C, plastic, and glass.

To eliminate damage to caps and reduce insert wear, the machine comes with adjustable torque values. The AccuCapper BT also comes with a universal stand to mount onto your work surface, one chuck, and one insert (up to a size 50).

How exactly does this machine work?

This capper uses a vertically lowered rotating cap driver to apply the necessary torque to a container’s closure. You’ll need to hand-place caps onto the containers and then place that container into the work area. The diving head air cylinder uses flow controls so the operator can set the diving head’s dive and rise speed during operation. The flow controls manage the exhaust pressure from the cylinder. Being able to control the dive head speed allows you to choose a safe operating speed while maximizing production. When you press the foot pedal, the air motor turns on and the diving head lowers. When you release the foot pedal, the diving head rises and the air motor stops. The tool rotation can be reversed for uncapping operations. Press and turn the reverse button to lock it in place. To return to normal capping operation, turn the reverse button until it unlocks and pops back out to its normal position.

How often should I maintain this machine?

We recommend draining any accumulated moisture from the regulator water trap at the beginning of each shift every day. As needed, tighten any loose bolts, replace the gripping inserts, replace the bottle gripper pad, and wipe a thin film of light oil on the air cylinder and guide shafts.
