The ASC-2 Retorquer’s versatility and user-friendly design make it indispensable for maintaining seal integrity and tamper-evident packaging. Two spinning discs tighten caps loosened from the induction sealing process. The height is easily adjustable depending on the bottle’s length. What’s the purpose of the gripper belts?

The gripper belts are designed to move the containers towards the spindles for tightening. Then they move the container towards whatever the next phase in the process is, whether that’s an employee removing the product from the conveyor belt or transitioning the product to a labeling machine.

How can I adjust the belt tension?

You will need to use a wrench to adjust the sprocket in conjunction with a flathead screwdriver. The manual will go over this process in more depth.

Are the controls for this machine easy to operate?

Yes, the retorquer features some of the simplest controls of all of our machines. All you need to do is adjust two knobs: one for the gripper belt and one for the spindles.
