What type of stainless steel is this machine made of?

This tube sealer is made of 304 stainless steel, which makes it resistant to acid and alkali corrosion.

How exactly does ultrasonic sealing work?

Nearly all packaging materials and laminates with a thermoplastic sealing layer or coating can use ultrasonic technology to make a strong hermetic seal. Ultrasonic sealing uses high-frequency mechanical sound waves in a thermoplastic material to create friction heat, causing a molecular bond between two sealant layers. The ultrasonic sealing mechanism has an anvil on one side and an ultrasonic acoustic stack (converter, amplitude coupler, and sonotrode) on the other. The acoustic stack and anvil form a clamp. Ultrasonic vibrations from the acoustic stack create localized friction heat.

How easy is it to navigate the touchscreen?

The touchscreen is user-friendly and simple to use. The manual will describe, in simple terms, how to use it.

What do I need to do to maintain my machine?

We generally recommend cleaning the machine’s surface every day. Once a week, clean all surfaces with a mild detergent and lubricate when necessary. Whenever you need to, clean out all old product inside the machine.

What happens if I have an issue with my machine?

If you run into any problems with running your tube sealer, then we recommend consulting the manual; there is a dedicated section on troubleshooting and maintenance. It contains a list of possible problems you may encounter when operating the sealer, why they’re happening, and what you can do to fix them. If you can’t fix the problem or it’s outside the scope of the troubleshooting section, then give Accutek’s service department a call. We’ll be happy to help you solve the problem and get your tube sealer back in working order.
